Introduction to Beam and Column Encasement

This one-day course is designed to introduce learners to the installation of GypLyner Encase (framed encasement) and FireCase encasement systems (frameless encasement), and also for experienced fixers to help demonstrate their competency through manufacturers training.

Description

The course is a mix of practical learning and classroom-based learning. Attendees will learn how to correctly install GypLyner Encase and FireCase using approved construction details to various scenarios of beam and columns including 2, 3, and 4-sided encasements.

 Students will be able to demonstrate a complete understanding of these products and be able to identify and rectify installation issues with GypLyner Encase and FireCase encasement systems. They’ll also learn how to measure, cut and fix Glasroc F Firecase and Gyproc FireLine plasterboards.

This course is led by industry professionals, and will enable attendees to become knowledgeable, skilled and competent installers working to the highest standards of safety and quality.
