A 1 day introductory course on GypCeling Grid (lay in grid ceilings) covering setting out, forming suspension points, creating bulkheads and changs in ceiling height as well as the installation of ceiling tiles.
This one-day course is a great introduction to installing lay in grid ceiling systems. It’s a good next step for new dryliners or beginners to develop further competency and practical skills as an industry professional.
The course teaches attendees how to install GypCeiling Grid systems. including methods of suspension. forming a change in height and setting out. It’s suitable for anyone who’s already completed one or both of our metal stud courses or someone wanting learn how to install this type of ceiling system.
The majority of the learning centres on practical skills but all attendees will have an in-person induction using video and verbal explanation. There’s also a recap at the end of the course to check learning and ask any questions.
On completing the course participants will understand the differences and methods of suspension, how to plan work and set out the ceiling grid and also how to form a change in ceiling height. There’s also a great emphasis on safety, organisation and methodical working throughout.
Following this course, delivered by industry experts, attendees could go on to the Beginners or Advanced Metal Stud courses or our Commercial Wall-linings course or the GypCeiling MF course.
