Provides an introduction to the concept of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and gives consideration of the different stages of the LCA Process.

This module also provides an introduction to LCA international standards, an introduction to environmental product declarations (EPDs) and why they're important, as well as  examples of the different types of EPDs and how these are attained and an introduction to Product Category Rules (PCRs) and how these influence the LCA Process.

On completion of this course you will have an overview of:

- The Life Cycle Analysis process

- Product category rules

- Environmental product declarations

- The international standards that apply

- The benefits of adopting a life cycle approach
