This module will look at what is meant by a whole building, and fabric first approach. It will take you through what you need to consider in a building type, particularly looking at heritage retrofit. It will then take you through the different fabric interventions and systems and services available in retrofit, and how they interact together.

On completion of this course you will have an overview of:

- Why you need to think about a building in its entirety
- Different retrofit interventions that are used
- What risks can occur from the interaction of these interventions
