A follow on to the Introduction to GypWall Single Frame Partitions, also suitable for installers wanting to move into commercial work from residential or those that have previous experience of metal stud and want refresh their knowledge and skills.
This is a two-day course that follows on from our beginner-level ‘Introduction to Gypwall Single Frame Partitions’. It’s designed to build on participants’ basic knowledge of installing metal stud partitions and will help participants to work with competence to the highest standards.
This course covers the practical installation of advanced partition construction such as deflection heads, service openings in partitions, forming doorways over 1200mm, forming multiple service openings or doorways in a partition, acoustic t-junctions and control joints.
Across the two days there’s an emphasis on practical work with some verbal and video input and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
By the end of the course participants will have the skills to install advanced installation details to maintain performance of the specified system while demonstrating safe and healthy working practices and interpreting drawings and written information with confidence and competence.
Delivered by industry experts, attendees can develop their drylining skills further by taking our GypCeiling or Commercial Wall-linings courses as a follow-up.
Attended Introduction to GypWall Single Frame Partitions or have previous experience of installing metal stud partitions.
ALL Learners must be able to speak and read English

The learner attending the training will also be required to provide some additional information including demonstrating their identification via official ID.

This course is delivered in English and all resources including registration forms are in English.
