This two-day course gives new installers working in the retrofit market the skills to install internal wall insulation systems.
The course is split evenly between practical work and classroom learning, leaving attendees with all the knowledge needed to install British Gypsum’s BBA approved DriLyner Dab, GypLyner Single and GypLyner Independent.
Following a short induction and safety brief, attendees will learn about good quality management systems and the process for compliance to PAS 2030:2017 and 2035:2019. There’s then an opportunity to install all four systems.
By the end of the course participants will have the practical skills to upgrade thermal insulation in line with the Energy Company Obligation scheme (ECO). They’ll also understand how important it is to install systems correctly and work with a safe, methodical and organised approach.
Led by an industry expert, this course makes an excellent knowledge base for installing wall insulation systems.
On completion attendees can become part of British Gypsum's Registered Installer Scheme through an onsite inspection of work, repeated on a yearly basis.
Please note the inspection fee is not included in the price for this course, you must select that separately from the course list.
